The interior concept balances warm walnut tones, neutral stone textures, brushed metal details and natural light to create a home that feels refined, functional and quietly elevated.

The kitchen is designed as a warm and practical centrepiece, with timber veneer cabinetry, soft neutral surfaces and a clean architectural layout. The benchtop and splashback use Fantaci Matt Victoria Falls porcelain, paired with a rounded edge profile for a softer, more refined expression.

Laundry

A compact and highly functional laundry with custom cabinetry, calm material tones and brushed brass details for an elevated everyday experience.

Bathroom

A calm and refined bathroom space defined by soft stone textures, warm timber detailing and brushed gold accents. The vanity features Fantaci’s prefabricated solid timber veneer vanity system, bringing together practical storage, natural material warmth and a refined architectural finish for everyday use.

The bedrooms and wardrobes are designed with a calm, integrated approach, where warm timber joinery becomes part of the architecture rather than a separate storage element. Full-height wardrobe systems, refined handle details and built-in sensor LED lighting create a practical yet elevated environment, bringing soft illumination and everyday ease to the dressing experience.

A calm and considered study zone designed to support focus, storage and everyday use.

The study and display joinery continues the home’s warm timber language, creating a quiet and functional workspace with integrated storage, open shelving and softly lit details. A built-in desk provides a dedicated place for work or study, while the adjacent display unit adds depth, rhythm and visual warmth to the room.

Designed with both practicality and atmosphere in mind, the joinery combines concealed storage, curated display areas and integrated lighting to create a space that feels refined, organised and connected to the rest of the home.

Living Room

The living room joinery is designed as a refined architectural feature, integrating entertainment, storage and display into one cohesive wall system. Warm timber veneer cabinetry frames the television area, while open shelving provides space for books, objects and greenery.

A stone-look porcelain platform adds visual weight and material contrast, balancing the warmth of the timber with a soft neutral surface. Designed for both everyday use and quiet display, the living area brings together practical storage, concealed functionality and a calm, elevated atmosphere.

Material Selection

A warm and restrained material palette was selected to create a calm, cohesive interior throughout the Bentleigh Residence. Natural timber tones form the foundation of the joinery, bringing warmth and softness to the home, while light stone textures and soft neutral wall finishes introduce a sense of brightness and quiet refinement. White KitKat tiles add subtle texture and rhythm to the wet areas, balancing the smooth porcelain surfaces with a more tactile detail. Brushed metal handles and accents provide a refined contrast against the timber veneer, adding depth without overpowering the overall palette. Together, the materials create a home that feels soft, modern and highly liveable — balancing natural warmth, everyday durability and understated elegance.
